Political Campaign Embed

  • Covered the 2020 presidential campaign, originally embedded with Sen. Elizabeth Warren and later rotated to cover the Iowa and Nevada caucuses for NBC News, MSNB and NBC News NOW

  • Conducted interviews with presidential candidates and campaign surrogates like Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Andrew Yang, John Kerry and reported on politics and policy,  wrote original news stories on topics such as unions, AAPI voters and coronavirus

  • Served as correspondent for various segments for NBC News Now and conducted site surveys and editorial preparation for the Nevada caucus sites, produced live shots for correspondents

  • Served as Photo Editor at the Daily Nexus, one of the top 10 college newspapers ranked nationally by US News and World Report

  • Led nationally recognized photojournalistic coverage of community riots in Spring 2014, the Isla Vista shooting rampage

  • Edited dozens of images daily for use in print and online in a deadline-driven environment
